Quit being a wimp!

Come on, let's really be honest. So many times we follow God when it is easy to follow Him, but when it gets hard we abandon ship. I mean, wouldn't it be a lot easier to just follow his calling and his commands for our lives? So many times we just choose our own way. Our way may provide some of our basic needs but God really wants to bless us. So we need to quit listening to ourselves and get out of the way for God to move! So the question becomes: How do we get out of the way so that we can see Him move? The answer is: we become obedient, no matter the cost. Sometimes being obedient to God will cost us friends, sometimes it will cost us some upset parents or family, sometimes even money. Sometimes our jobs! I want you to remember that there are many martyrs for the name of Jesus who die everyday. So it can even cost us our life! We need to quit being self-centered and start being God-centered, so that we can get out of the way in order for God to move.
