Obey!

Life is awesome when you obey! I was thinking through the process of how scripture has really effected my life and how when I choose to obey the blessings that God in store have been amazing. Let me give you some Examples of the Word and the impact it has had on my life.

The Parable of the Tares and the Wheat - This was my salvation experience I knew I was a tare because I was empty on the inside.
Jonah - This was my calling into ministry I Jumped on a boat going in a different direction until their was no fulfillment.
Jesus Death on cross- Sacrifice (my sacrifice must mean that need to die to self.)
The Rich Young Ruler - I remember closing our business to follow God.
Peter Stepping on the water- Church Planting
Nehemiah- Rebuilding the walls of Rockmart

God speaks to us through Scripture. It's up to us to Obey!

Two Weeks In.

We just got threw our second week and we had 170 at our service and another pray to receive Christ. I am so excited about what God is doing. I believe after this first month we will get into a routine of things with a little more structure around the office so we can get things going. I haven't seen the blogging world in quite some time so hello to all. If you know where I can find a good copier let me know making copies is expensive send me some advice. Just a word of encouragement stand strong in the one you trust. "that being God."

WOW!

WOW! Lets talk about God showing up! Yesterday we launched Cross View Community Church in Rockmart, Georgia and It was awesome to see the people come out. We had 200 in attendance and we didn't count the pregnant women twice. Awesome turn out for a rural community but what's even better than that is one lady yesterday prayed to recieve Christ! Man! so many times we look at how many people came out to hear us but today lets remember the reason we are doing what we are doing in church planting and that being sharing the good news about what we have recieved through Jesus. I can't wait to see what this year is going to hold for all of us. All you church planters Jim Akins and WRC,Jeff Chandler, Matt Evans, Mike L, Tony McCollum,Gary Lamb, David Reed, and the boy's from FBCW. You guys are great appreciated for all your help and guidance and many other for your help in reaching out to make this possible.
